Once again, Kaito had found himself on this side of the Wall, toying with yet another set of feeble mortal minds. He hadn't bothered to bring his harp along this time, but rather had decided to stick with his flute. It was a very special instrument, designed and crafted by Fae hands. He would never trust equipment produced by any other species, for when it came to music and art there was no better than a Muse.
There he stood, leaning on one of the random shops of the capital city of the humans, hypnotic notes ringing out from his flute. It was enough to captivate the minds of those nearby, and a few of them dropped some of their precious coins at his feet. He noted several silver ones and smiled around his instrument. His bardic charm was enough to inspire them to give up their wealth, and he held back a laugh. He had no real need for their money, but it was good to have when you traveled as much as he did.
A small crowd had begun to form, and he decided that it was time to clear this up before he drew too much attention to himself. He didn't want people to recognize him as Fae, not here in the heart of the hatred towards his kind. With one final note he let the music end, receiving small applause as he bowed to his observers. In truth, he hated them, every single one of them. It was only natural, just as it was only natural for them to hate him. He was careful to keep his hood over his neatly kept blue hair, else they would realize his true identity and then he'd be in some real trouble.
Scooping up the coins that lay scattered at his feet, he placed them in his bag and made his way to the closest tavern he could find. He was hungry, and luckily the one thing about the humans that he could stand was their food. It was definitely different, but enjoyable nonetheless. he would definitely miss it when they were wiped off the face of Litharia.
