Appearance:
Jaime is a boy of about 5'5" in height. His body is thin, but not grossly so, with mildly toned muscles. His hair is long, blonde, and spikes up in disarray, sticking out in random spots from his earflap hat. His eyes are large and brown, emitting a child-like innocence. His clothes are a little strange. Jaime wears a dark blue turtle neck tanktop with a light brown and brown hooded vest over it, and over that he wears a light brown and brown jacket with white fur on the neckline. Around his waist is brown leather belt, and he wears a pair of light brown pants. His boots are made of brown leather with tufts of white fur sticking out of the top. On his head is a dark blue earflap hat made out of the same material as his tanktop, with a raised symbol on the front. He wears long, black, fingerless gloves. Around his neck and hidden under his shirt is a small crystal pendant hanging from a leather cord, but of which are completely hidden from sight. Another strange feature of his, which isn't particularly his, is a small, mini sheep creature called a Nyeene that travels with him. Jaime refers to the creature as Tuft and it is often found sitting comfortably on top of Jaime's head, nestled into his thick hair and protected from falling by the earflap hat. He carries no weapons.

you make me feel so alive; i've got purpose once again
Personality:
Before Jaime even speaks, a small fraction of his personality can be known. He is very charismatic, though not as charismatic as someone with a Bardic gift, and people tend to be drawn toward him. Also, the boy radiates innocence; it's in his movements, his posture, his eyes, his voice, everything. There is a beautiful, child-like innocence about him. Jaime is outgoing, brave, and kind. In fact, he has many leadership qualities, and the boy will take charge if no one else will; however, he won't intervene in someone else's rule unless he absolutely feels that it's for the best. Jaime dislikes death and refuses to kill, shown in the fact that he doesn't carry a weapon. But Jaime isn't a goody-two-shoes; he likes to have fun just like everyone else, and the boy enjoys playing small tricks on his friends. He has an optimistic nature, and he can find something to laugh about in almost any situation. He lives life to the fullest. Jaime never goes back on his word.
and i'll have you know i'm scared to death
History:
He has lived in Spirit for practically all his life, growing up with his older sister who had raised him since she was 15, do to their mother's ineptness. When he was 6 years old, he began to study White Sorcerer magic on his own, which excited him greatly considering Jaime's fondness for life. At 10 years old, the boy received the necklace that grants his abilities. It was a little later in life that he understood the war; he had always heard stories about it, and he had even learned about it in his studies, but he never really put two and two together.
Understood is a bad term.
Jaime didn't understand it.
In fact, he hated the entire thing. Why couldn't the world just get along? His innocent and optimistic nature led him to deciding that, even if it was just a small thing, he would try to help end the war. Jaime decided that, no matter who or what they were, he would help people if they asked for it or needed it.
When Jaime was 16, he found Tuft in the forest, munching happily on lotus blossoms that he had found. By feeding the little creature more of the blossoms, Jaime gained Tuft's trust and friendship, which led to the little sheep following Jaime around.
Roleplay Sample:
The boy dived, snagging up the Nyeene and cuddling him to his chest. Tuft bellowed in delight, struggling playfully to get away, pressing his horns against Jaime's chest. Jaime laughed happily, rolling over onto his back and sitting the Nyeene on his stomach. The little creature settled happily over his belly button, blinking his beady little eyes at the boy.
A smile broke out over his face.
"Hey, Tuft, what do you say we find some food? I'm starving!"
The creature bellowed again, seeming to understand what Jaime said. In truth, the creature had no idea, but the sound of Jaime's voice was pleasing to the little being's ears.
Jaime rolled over, letting Tuft slid to the ground, and pushed off the ground into a standing position. Bending down, the boy scooped the little fluff ball up and set him on his head, where Tuft made himself comfortable. With a grin, Jaime patted the creature's back. "Maybe we can find you some lotus blossoms, even."
Tuft understood the words 'lotus blossoms', however, and bellowed happily.
The boy laughed in delight.
"Alright, alright. Let's go, then."
