Name: Cius (Ky-us)
Nickname:
Age: 31
Date of Birth: January 5th
Sexuality: Gay
Kith/Blood/Breed/Practice: Human
Abilities: Air magic (Sky mage)
Loyalty: Worships Sekme; loyal to no earthly being
Status/Occupation: Pretty well-off, but he rarely stays in one place, preferring to search the land for new magic and avoid people at all costs.
Appearance: Chin-length blond hair, very curly; dark blue eyes; about 5'3"; fair skinned. Wears a light gray hooded cloak, but prefers the have the hood down, as well as dark gray pants and a dark gray shirt with long sleeves. Has a few scars from fights in the wilderness, though nothing "major". Walks with a high-and-mighty air.
Personality: Cius is highly religious in the aspect of wanting to gain more power from the gods. He does not rely on anyone, though he does not push people away in an obvious way. He is generally cold towards people, especially the people that he is attracted to. Though he has interest in them, he is afraid of them getting in his way of power and ultimately shuns them. He is constantly searching for more power, constantly on the move. Nothing seems to faze him. Then again, he has never met someone persistent enough to get to know him... Wonder how he would react. He's pretty ambiguous.
History: Cius grew up as the second son of a noble family. He had learned as much as he could about magic and the gods while living with them, and when he turned 20 he visited the different temples, searching for the god that would call to him. In the Sekme temple, he felt drawn to a small silver bracelet. Using his parent's money, he bought it, knowing that it was rightfully his. For years he practiced his magic, finding different ways to draw it out and eventually becoming obsessed with it. He wanted more power, but there were no other gods willing to grant his wish. Angry and not wanting to admit defeat, he left his hometown and started a lifelong battle for his rights. He met many men along the way who he almost wanted to take along with him, but he told himself that he could never let them get in his way, and that there would be too much conflict. He left them without saying a word, and he has never heard from them again. He has never met a faery and he hopes he never will.
Roleplay Sample: 'Another day gone by', Cius thought bitterly. No news, no power, no gods. Was it going to be like this every day? Maybe he should give up already... 'No', he told himself for the umpteenth time, 'this is what I've spent a third of my life doing. I'm not going to give up because of this' "F***ING WILDERNESS!" he screamed, finishing his thought out loud. His voice echoed many times and he sourly fell to the ground at the base of a tree. He pulled out his various supplies, muttering about the way he was treated and the stupidity of his actions and why he couldn't just go back home. But he wanted power. Always more power. If he had to starve in a forest to gain it, he would do it, no matter how much he hated it. Besides, the outdoors was better than confinement... At least, that was his argument.
Let me know if anything's wrong--!
