Aura: Wild and beautiful, as many werebeasts are. She has that golden coloring, so rare among her kind. It is difficult not to admire it. She did not belong in a cage. I could not simply pass her by, as much as I wish I could. She should retain her freedom. Not become like me. Watching her roll and purr filled me with a kind of joy I had not experienced in a long time. I do not regret saving her.
Kenyon: He means little to me. I saved him because he was the female’s companion and because I could. That being said, there is something about him I instinctively like. Something in his eyes, or his mouth. Something hopeful in his expression. Also, he is a beautiful specimen. Under different circumstances, I would have loved to seduce him. Perhaps I still will. For now, I would like to see him recover from his ordeal.

Nolan: He is very nice for a human. I can’t trust him. He acts as though my being a shapeshifter makes no difference to him. Furthermore, he has amazing eyes and a nice voice. Nolan is…charismatic. I do not like charismatic people. One never knows where they stand with them. I will be keeping a close eye on him. I have already pegged him as proud. What more can I learn from him?

Kenyon: I cannot get his stupid smile out of my head. Something about him made my pulse quicken. I know I have a weak spot for cute people, but this is ridiculous. I want him to show up in Spirit and find me. Maybe hire me for something. I know just what I’d like him to hire me for…Oh, but stop it Duci! He was just a man. A cute man, but are there not plenty more?

Nolen: In a way, he almost reminds me of Kenyon. Oh dear. Not that again. I like Nolan’s eyes. I like Kenyon’s smile. What, am I comparing them now? Nolan is a customer. Kenyon is a...colleague, I suppose. Neither of them are important to me. Certainly not Nolan. He is paying me well for my services and I intend to repay him in kind. That is where this relationship will end.

Kenyon: Why did he have to show up and complicate things? I could have happily forgotten all about him. And now my client is all bent out of shape for some unfathomable reason. Unfortunately, I am happy to see him. The moment I saw his smile I felt lighter. Nolan is nice and all, but Kenyon is bright. Not that I like either one of them…nope.
Nolan: What is his deal? Kenyon showed up and my client went schizo on me. I feel oddly guilty, which is pretty ridiculous. I have no loyalty to either of them. Kenyon is an acquaintance and Nolan is a client. That is all. They’re both pretty cute, but that does not mean I have to get all confused. Nolan is a client. Nothing more.

Kenyon: He is staying in Spirit? I can feel myself glowing. Why am I glowing? There should be no glow. Stop glowing, Duci! And he is working with the Fluff Queen. Perhaps I will start stopping by more often. Oh, dear. I just need to seduce him and get it over with. Maybe then I can get over this little crush.

Nolan: Was his stiffness and weirdness just my imagination? He seems fine now. Of course, I know better than anyone that appearances can be deceiving. Nolan is a very interesting man. And the way his hair falls into his eyes like that…It makes him look kind of yummy. Yummy in a different way than Kenyon, who is also yummy. Nolan intrigues me. He is like a secret that I need to unravel.

Brighi: I am rather fond of the old woman. She’s tough and crude, a bit snappy, but she has a warm heart. The woman obviously prefers animals to anything else, and shifters to any other sentient species. I see no problem with this. Brighi is shrewd. I can respect that. Of course, she is able to see far more than she lets on. Brighi is certainly not your average werewolf.

Kaito: Pretty little thing. Very…feminine. I have a feeling he's strictly for men, though. Who knows? It can be hard to tell with the fae. He seems sort of timid and suspicious. That’s nothing new. But he was in Kenyon’s company, so mayb—wait. What if Kenyon is into guys? Oh dear. That would not do at all. How can I ever get that man out of my system if he’s into guys? Oh right; this was supposed to be about Kaito…
