There are as many treasures as there are dangers lurking around the Cliffs of Heaven. This is the only place in Litharia where one may find diamonds. They are not easy, mind you. There are very few caves in these cliffs and most of them are taken by dragons. On the bright side? Dragons love sparkly, shiny things. Their dens are often filled to the brim with gold, silver, bronze, copper, and any kind of gem you could ever imagine (plus some pretty useless shiny junk).
In addition to dragons, one may come across a griffin. There is a pack of them living about half way up the tallest cliff. For the most part, the griffins are lazy creatures and will not harm you unless they are desperate for food. This may occasionally happen during the summer, when the wild goats move north for a better food and water supply. They may also attack you if you are in their territory, depending on your perceived threat level.
Of course, you have to go past this territory in order to reach the top. Climbing to the top of one of the other massive cliffs is a feat to be sure, but climbing to the top of the biggest? That is where the legends are at. This cliff rests in the very center of the territory. It is important to avoid dragons, who will attack anyone who trespasses on their land, and trolls (who are just plain nasty).
The most believable source claims to have found a magnificent castle carved out of the cliff rock itself, but glittering with gold and diamond. His story says the place was entirely empty when he found it, but welcoming nonetheless. A gentle song drifts along the wind, propelling him forward. Once he found his way to the throne room, the place became flooded with the presence of the gods.
